Star POS Printers with unique Plug & Print Tablet Connection

Data & Charge: The first POS printers to print from and charge a tablet directly via cable.

Retailers can now combine the reliability of a traditional POS terminal with the flexibility and advantages of mPOS and Tablet POS.

Star’s TSP143III USB and mC-Print Series receipt printers can be connected directly to an iPad or iPhone via the supplied Lightning to USB cable, providing a truly versatile solution. There is no need for Bluetooth pairing or WiFi set-up for printing from a tablet.

mC-Print USB-C versions available soon
will also offer direct cabled connectivity with “data & charge” to select Android and Windows devices with USB-C ports as well as Star’s unique SteadyLAN technology.

For even greater functionality and providing a stable internet connection at the Point of Sale, mC-Print2 and mC-Print3 models offer Star’s unique SteadyLAN technology.

Simply by connecting an iOS device to the
mC-Print printer via the standard supplied USB Lightning cable and connecting the printer to the internet via a Wired LAN connection, the tablet is able to connect to the internet without WiFi communication. At the same time, the tablet can communicate with the printer via USB or LAN and the printer will also charge the tablet.

mC-Print models also offer additional USB host ports to directly connect USB peripherals such as scanners, displays or RFID devices to offer an all-in-one solution
